This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (Hello2Mee App) and website. Our core promise is privacy-first communication—allowing users to connect via video/audio calls without sharing personal phone numbers.

2. Data We Collect

A. Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, Email address, and Phone number (for login and verification).
  • Profile Data: Profile pictures or display names you choose to share.
  • Service Details: Information related to your QR codes (e.g., vehicle number for parking, emergency contact details for senior citizens).
  • Manual Location Data: Information you voluntarily provide (e.g., "Parked at B-Block")—we do not track real-time GPS location.

B. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device Information: Device model, OS version, and unique identifiers (Device Token) for push notifications (FCM).
  • Call Metadata: Call logs (caller/callee IDs, timestamps, duration, and connection status). We do not record or store audio/video content.
  • Network Data: IP address and network status to facilitate WebRTC connections.

3. Android Permissions & Usage

To provide our services, the app requests specific permissions. You can manage these in your device settings.

  • Safety & Emergencies: To facilitate quick contact for Senior Citizen services or Lost & Found (Keyring).
  • Service Improvement: To analyze performance (e.g., call success rates) and fix bugs.

5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with essential service providers:

  • Firebase (Google): For authentication and Cloud Messaging (Notifications).
  • Razorpay: For secure payment processing. We do not store your credit card or banking details.
  • WebRTC & TURN Servers: To relay video/audio streams between devices. This data is transient and encrypted; it is not stored.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account data as long as your account is active. You have the right to delete your account and associated data at any time.

How to Delete Your Data:

Upon deletion, all personal identifiers are removed. Some anonymized metadata may be retained for legal compliance.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) for all communications and secure token-based authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover such data, we will delete it immediately.
